At Soul Light Yoga Teacher Training, led by Georgia Talcott and Mayank Rajput, we aim to provide clarity regarding our tuition, payment options, and refund procedures. This policy is designed to be fair and consistent with applicable consumer protection laws, ensuring transparency for all our trainees.
Upon receiving an acceptance email into our program, the applicant will be charged a non-refundable deposit of $500 on their credit card or via bank transfer to secure their place.
All refund considerations are subject to the specific terms outlined below.
An applicant who is denied admission into the program is entitled to a full refund of all money paid.
The program reserves the right to cancel any training before it begins. In such a case, any payments applicants have made will be refunded in full.
An applicant who submits written notice of cancellation within three (3) business days after paying the $500 deposit is entitled to a full refund of all money paid. The refund will be processed and paid within thirty (30) days of receiving the written notice of cancellation.
If an applicant submits written notice of cancellation more than three (3) business days after signing the training agreement but before the program begins:
If an applicant cancels thirty (30) days or more before the start of the program, the applicant will forfeit $500 of the deposit, and the remaining balance will be refunded.
If an applicant cancels 14–30 days before the start of the program, the applicant will forfeit $500 of the deposit, and the remaining balance will be refunded.
There will be no refunds or credits provided once the training program has officially started. If an applicant withdraws from the program for any reason after it commences, the applicant will be responsible for paying the full tuition amount, regardless of any partial payments made to date.
For an applicant requesting cancellation due to reasonable explanation and approved by the Program Director within the first week of training, the tuition retained by the program shall not exceed 10% of the contract price of the course plus $1,000, but in no event more than $2,000.
A student completing more than 25% of the course is not entitled to a refund of any tuition.
In cases where a student needs to withdraw due to illness, accident, death in the immediate family, or other extraordinary circumstances that make it impractical to complete the course, Soul Light Yoga Teacher Training will review the situation and provide a reasonable and fair refund at its discretion. Documentation may be required to support such requests.
No refunds will be given if the program removes a student from the program for bad conduct. Bad conduct is defined as a violation of the Code of Conduct, harassment, bullying, or any other behavior that is inappropriate or disruptive to the welfare of the program or to fellow students.
This Tuition and Refund Policy serves as a binding agreement upon acceptance into Soul Light Yoga Teacher Training. We encourage all prospective and current trainees to review this policy carefully.
